The journey began in Bingley, Bradford 1979 when our family came together with the idea that curries should be made with love and passion. Thirty-nine years on, we still carry that belief into everything we do. After hard work, we launched our second branch titled Shama Balti Huddersfield. We consider ourselves to be the experts in the ancient art of curries.
We understand: if you like the curry, you’ll want the same curry again. Here at Shama we pride ourselves of being consistent. Whether it’s the Balti Lamb Bukhari or the traditional Balti Chicken Tikka Masala or the hundreds of other dishes available, they are all cooked to their own unique, consistent standard. In order to maintain this high standard, Shama has always trained their own in-house chefs to ensure consistency.
